Tig.ai exposes one inbound route for the workspace. Assign an inbound workflow to the phone number or SIP number that should receive calls.

Supported connections

Twilio

Receive calls through a Twilio phone number

Telnyx

Receive calls through Telnyx Call Control

SIP

Receive calls through the SIP number assigned to an agent

How inbound calling works

  1. Your telephony provider receives the call.
  2. The provider sends the event to Tig.ai’s inbound route.
  3. Tig.ai identifies the workspace and agent from the configured number.
  4. The call is connected to the selected agent.

Configure inbound calling

  1. Open Telephony in the Tig.ai dashboard.
  2. Add a Twilio or Telnyx configuration, or open the agent’s SIP settings.
  3. Add a phone number or copy the agent’s SIP number.
  4. Assign the agent’s workflow as the inbound workflow.
  5. Save and place a test call to the configured number.
For provider-specific setup, see Twilio, Telnyx, or SIP.
